Fresh out of college, with no definitive plans, I ended up working in a before and after school child care program. I was saddened by the lack of supports and services for struggling children. As I progressed in my career, I saw a gap in services and understanding of the importance of environment, teaching style, and knowledge of Neurodivergence, nervous system regulation and trauma. The longer I worked with children, the more I noticed that parents were struggling with balancing self care, dealing with their own trauma, and feeling confidence and joy in parenting. Because of my own Neurodivergence and special interests, skills, educational background, and experience; I have a unique perspective and guidance to offer. 

MY EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

I have a B.A. in Sociology and a M.S. in Counseling with a concentration in ABA. I've worked with kids of all ages from birth to teenage years in a variety of settings such as child care, preschool, inclusion preschool, clinical settings, in-home, and have provided services as a Registered Behavior Technician, Infant and Toddler Developmental Specialist, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and a Mom of Four.
